Mindfullyfed believes that deprivation does not work. It leads to yo-yo dieting. We can maintain restricting for a period of time, then we find ourselves eating straight out of the Ben & Jerry’s container in the freezer. The body will always win. If we are restricting the body of essential nutrition, it will demand our attention at some point.

Rather than beginning with deprivation, in Mindfullyfed One-on-One Counseling, we begin with abundance. We want to be fully fed – with quality foods that feed us at the cellular level. When we nourish our bodies and minds with nutrient-rich foods, we are then much more able to forgo the foods that don’t.

When we feed our bodies with high quality, nutrient dense foods, we naturally control our weight and feel satisfied at the same time.
